Last updated: 21 July 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using Our Service.

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of https://unbrandlab.com and to products or services supplied by UnBrand Lab.
UnBrand Lab is a trading name of Mrs Linda McClure, based at 6 Auchengate Crescent, Auchengate, Irvine, Ayrshire, KA11 5BA, United Kingdom.
You can contact us at:
- Email: linda@unbrandlab.com
- Contact page: https://unbrandlab.com/unbrand-lab-contact/
In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Mrs Linda McClure trading as UnBrand Lab. “You” and “your” mean the person or organisation using our website, purchasing something from us or engaging us to provide services.
2. What these Terms cover
These Terms cover:
- Use of the UnBrand Lab website
- Branding, website design and development
- Event branding and marketing materials
- Business systems, landing pages, forms and automation
- Strategy, consultancy and creative services
- Digital products, templates and downloadable materials
- White-label products and licensed resources
- Memberships, subscriptions and online learning
- Physical and personalised products
- Any other product or service offered by UnBrand Lab
Additional terms may appear in a proposal, quotation, invoice, product description, licence, order confirmation or service agreement.
If there is a conflict, the terms in the relevant proposal, service agreement, product listing or licence will take priority for that particular purchase.
3. Using this website
You may use this website only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
- Damage, disrupt or interfere with the website or its security
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its systems or data
- Introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material
- Copy, reproduce or commercially exploit our website content without permission
- Use the website in a fraudulent, abusive, defamatory or unlawful way
- Misrepresent yourself, your organisation or your authority to act for somebody else
We may restrict or block access where we reasonably believe the website is being misused.
You must be at least 18 years old to enter into a contract with us.
4. Enquiries, proposals and orders
Sending an enquiry does not create a contract.
For bespoke services, we will normally provide a proposal, quotation, scope of work or invoice. A contract begins when you accept the proposal or quotation, confirm your agreement in writing, pay a requested deposit or initial invoice, or otherwise clearly instruct us to begin work.
For products, downloads, memberships or services purchased through an online checkout, a contract begins when we send confirmation that we have accepted your order.
We may refuse an enquiry or order where:
- The requested work is outside our services or availability
- Information supplied is incomplete, inaccurate or misleading
- A price or description contains an obvious error
- Payment cannot be authorised
- We reasonably suspect fraud, unlawful conduct or infringement of another person’s rights
- Working together would create a conflict of interest or unreasonable risk
5. Services and project scope
The services, deliverables, timescale, price and number of included revisions will be described in your proposal, quotation, service agreement or product description.
We will provide services with reasonable care and skill.
Unless expressly included, a service does not automatically include:
- Ongoing website maintenance or hosting
- Unlimited revisions
- Printing, manufacturing or delivery
- Paid advertising costs
- Premium software, plugins, fonts, photography or stock assets
- Domain registration or renewal
- Third-party subscriptions
- Legal, financial, medical or regulatory advice
- Work requested after the agreed project has been completed
Anything outside the agreed scope may require a revised quote or an additional charge. We will tell you before carrying out chargeable additional work.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information, content, instructions and feedback
- Supply requested materials within a reasonable time
- Confirm that you have permission to use anything you give us
- Review drafts and proofs carefully
- Check names, dates, prices, contact details, spelling and factual claims
- Obtain any professional or regulatory approvals relevant to your business
- Respond to requests and make decisions needed to progress the work
- Keep your login details and accounts secure
- Back up important materials where appropriate
Delays in receiving content, feedback, approval or access may affect the project timescale.
You are responsible for final approval. Once you approve a design, document, print file, website or other deliverable, later corrections may be chargeable.
7. Revisions and changes
Your proposal or product description will state what revisions are included.
A revision means a reasonable adjustment to work already created within the agreed brief. It does not include a new concept, a substantial change of direction or additional deliverables.
Requests outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.
If you change the brief after work begins, we may revise the price and timescale. We will explain any material change before proceeding.
8. Prices and payment
Prices will be shown on the website, proposal, quotation, order page or invoice.
Any taxes, delivery charges, third-party costs or recurring fees will be identified where applicable.
Payment may be collected by invoice, bank transfer, Stripe, payment link, online checkout or another agreed method.
Where staged payments or a deposit are required, the payment schedule will appear in your proposal or invoice.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Invoices must be paid by the stated due date
- Work may not begin until the initial payment has cleared
- Final files, licences or website transfer may be withheld until full payment
- We may pause work or access if an invoice becomes overdue
- Project timescales may change if payment is late
For business customers, we reserve the right to claim statutory interest and recovery costs on overdue commercial debts where the law permits.
Stripe and other payment providers process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
9. Third-party services and costs
Some projects require third-party products or services, including hosting, domains, plugins, software, fonts, stock images, printers, email platforms and payment providers.
Unless we expressly agree otherwise:
- Third-party fees are your responsibility
- Third-party services are governed by the provider’s terms
- We are not responsible for changes, outages, price increases or discontinued services controlled by a third party
- You are responsible for renewing services registered in your name
- Licence restrictions imposed by third parties will continue to apply
We will take reasonable care when recommending or configuring third-party services, but we cannot guarantee their continued availability or performance.
10. Digital products and downloads
Digital products may include templates, workbooks, guides, graphics, copy resources, training, software-related files and other downloadable materials.
Digital content will be supplied as described on the relevant product page or order confirmation.
Unless the applicable licence says otherwise, your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the digital product for its stated purpose.
You must not:
- Share, reproduce or distribute the product publicly
- Sell, sublicense or give away the original files
- Claim our original work as your own
- Remove copyright or ownership notices
- Use the product in a way prohibited by its licence
This does not prevent you from using or adapting a product where the product description or licence specifically allows it.
11. White-label products
Some products may be offered with white-label or resale rights.
The licence supplied with the product will explain exactly what you may edit, brand, supply to clients or resell.
Purchasing a white-label product does not automatically transfer copyright or give unrestricted resale rights.
Unless its licence expressly allows it, you must not:
- Resell or distribute the original source files
- Sell the product as a competing template or white-label resource
- Transfer the licence to another business
- Claim authorship of material that remains our intellectual property
- Use the product outside the permitted number of clients, projects or businesses
The specific white-label licence will take priority over this section if there is any difference.
12. Physical and personalised products
Any physical product will be described on its product page or quotation.
Colours and appearance may vary slightly between screens, printing methods and materials.
You must check and approve any proof supplied before production. We are not responsible for an error that appeared in an approved proof unless we introduced the error after approval.
Estimated dispatch or delivery dates are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed.
Risk in physical goods passes to you when they are delivered. Ownership passes once full payment has been received.
Personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items may not qualify for a change-of-mind cancellation, although your rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods remain unaffected.
13. Consumer cancellation rights
This section applies when you purchase as an individual mainly for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession.
Where UK distance-selling cancellation rights apply, you will normally have 14 days to cancel:
- For services, from the day the contract is made
- For digital content, from the day the contract is made
- For physical goods, from the day you receive the goods
If you ask us to begin a service during the 14-day cancellation period, you may be required to pay for the work completed before you cancel.
If the service has been fully performed after you expressly requested an early start and acknowledged that your cancellation right would be lost upon completion, the right to cancel may no longer apply.
For immediately supplied digital content, we will ask you to consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that this may end your 14-day cancellation right.
Cancellation rights may not apply to personalised, bespoke or made-to-order products except where they are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet your statutory rights.
To cancel, email linda@unbrandlab.com with your name, order or invoice details and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
14. Returns and refunds for physical goods
Where you have a legal right to cancel a physical-goods order, you must tell us within 14 days of receiving it and return it within a further 14 days.
Unless the goods are faulty or misdescribed, you are responsible for return postage and for taking reasonable care of the goods.
We may reduce a refund where handling has reduced the value of the goods beyond what would reasonably be permitted when examining them.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method within the legally required period.
Personalised or bespoke goods cannot normally be returned simply because you have changed your mind. This does not affect your rights if they are faulty or not as described.
15. Cancellation of bespoke services
If you cancel a bespoke project after work has begun, you must pay for:
- Work completed up to the cancellation date
- Any agreed project stages already delivered
- Non-refundable third-party costs
- Materials or services specifically ordered for your project
- Any other reasonable, unavoidable costs caused by the cancellation
Any remaining balance paid in advance will be refunded where appropriate.
For business customers, additional cancellation terms in the relevant proposal or service agreement will apply.
If we need to cancel a project, we will tell you as soon as reasonably possible. We will refund any advance payment relating to work we will not provide.
16. Memberships and subscriptions
If we introduce memberships or subscriptions, the price, billing frequency, minimum term and included services will be shown before purchase.
Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions will continue for the selected billing period until cancelled.
You may cancel future renewals through the method described on the membership page or by contacting us. Cancellation will not normally refund a billing period that has already begun unless the law requires otherwise.
We may change membership content or features where reasonably necessary. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
We may suspend access where payment fails, these Terms are breached or the membership is being misused.
17. Intellectual property
The website and its original content, design, graphics, copy, branding, downloads and materials belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law.
For bespoke client work, ownership and usage rights will be set out in the proposal, service agreement or licence.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise:
- We retain ownership of our pre-existing materials, methods, frameworks, templates, processes and reusable components
- Third-party assets remain subject to their original licences
- Rights in final approved deliverables are granted or transferred only after full payment
- Drafts, rejected concepts and unused work remain our property
- You may use the final work only for the purposes and within the licence agreed
You confirm that content you supply does not infringe another person’s rights. You remain responsible for claims arising from materials you instructed us to use where you did not have the required permission.
18. Portfolio use
Unless confidentiality has been agreed in writing, we may display completed work and identify the project in our portfolio, website, social media, awards entries or promotional materials.
We will not knowingly disclose confidential or sensitive business information.
If a project must remain confidential or cannot be displayed before a particular date, tell us in writing before work begins.
19. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to take reasonable care of confidential information received from the other and not disclose it unnecessarily.
This does not apply to information that:
- Is already public through no breach of these Terms
- Was lawfully known before it was disclosed
- Is received lawfully from another source
- Must be disclosed by law or a competent authority
20. Personal information
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Mrs Linda McClure is the Data Controller and is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration reference ZB957431.
21. Website content and availability
We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
General website content is provided for information and does not constitute legal, financial, medical or other regulated professional advice.
We may update, remove or change website content and services without notice.
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We do not control or endorse their content, security, availability or privacy practices.
22. Results and expectations
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot guarantee a particular commercial result.
Branding, websites, marketing and business systems depend on many factors outside our control, including your decisions, implementation, audience, market, pricing, offer and third-party platforms.
We do not guarantee specific sales, enquiries, search rankings, social-media growth, event attendance, revenue or Google verification.
23. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or breach of statutory consumer rights.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
If you are purchasing for business purposes:
- We will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss
- We will not be liable for loss of profit, revenue, anticipated savings, opportunity, goodwill or business interruption
- Our total liability relating to a particular product, service or project will not exceed the total amount paid or payable to us for that product, service or project
We are not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate instructions, delayed feedback, materials supplied by you, your failure to maintain backups or events outside our reasonable control.
24. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including illness, severe weather, internet or hosting failures, cyber incidents, industrial action, supplier failure, transport disruption, government action or interruption of utilities.
We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect and resume performance where possible.
25. Ending services or access
We may suspend or end a service, membership, licence or website access if:
- You materially breach these Terms or an applicable agreement
- Payment remains overdue
- You misuse our work, systems or intellectual property
- Continuing would be unlawful, unsafe or seriously damaging
- You fail to provide information or cooperation needed to continue
Where appropriate, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue.
Ending a contract does not remove rights or payment obligations that arose before it ended.
26. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when our services, products, systems or legal obligations change.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date.
The terms applying to an accepted project or completed order will normally be those provided when the contract was formed, unless a change is required by law or agreed by both parties.
27. Governing law and disputes
Please contact us first if you have a concern so that we can try to resolve it informally.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.
If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights available under the law where you live and may bring proceedings in any court permitted by applicable consumer law.
If you are purchasing for business purposes, the courts of Scotland will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or our services.
28. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
